I was surprised to find gishpuppy working today! I quickly sent michael a thank you email from me since he never ever charged any of a cent for setting this up so, so many years ago.
goodwill goes a real long way guys. even if gishpuppy ends completely, we owe it to him to know that we really relied on gp and that we'll sorely miss it if he ever pulls the plug on it. I would have gladly paid him money for this, and I think a lot of us would have to, even if just annually.

Well, it lasted all of ONE DAY. The apache service is down again.

Notopening.com is useless for gishpuppy when apache has gone down.
Gishpuppy seems to be back, but I have already had various accounts closed for bounced email. Never trusting gishpuppy again. I recommend anon email as a reliable, low-cost alternative to gishpuppy

I guess gishpuppy is dead / no longer supported. Sad news.

NOTE: I contacted the Domain Registrar for Gishpuppy.com and asked them to notify Michael Lin that there is a problem, and suggest that he add a non-Gishpuppy email address for reporting problems.

Their APACHE server has been down since spring. This makes the service inoperative. Unfortunately, the only associated email addresses are gishpuppy addresses, so Michael Lin will not get any problem reports sent his way.
I have switched to AnonAddy since it appears that this will never be resolved.

While www.gishpuppy.com is reachable, any time I attempt to login to the site to either create a new gishpuppy email address or retrieve an old address, I get an internal server error. This has been happening continuously since sometime on June 9, 2020. (It is now Aug 5, 2020.) Also, I am no longer receiving email from any of the gishpuppy addresses that I have set up. I have emailed this information to the postmaster there (postmaster.123@gishpuppy.com, and volunteers@gishpuppy.com) but my messages get returned by postmaster@outlook.com as undeliverable. It kind of looks like gishpuppy is dead.
