Well, for anyone who is reading this and cares, I'm making some okay ish progress. I'm using this opportunity to learn a new framework so it's going slower than i Thought. I have the login page finished and working. Going to work on the main chatting functions next. It wont have the karma system or anything at launch but ill at least have chat rooms / DM/PMs working.
