As I said, the hunter doesn't know anything as nobody can reach the owner, that's all any of them know. There is no new site, there is no go fund me. It's wait and see possibly forever.

It's not closed down. Owner has not paid fee. I'd gladly contribute. Maybe he has a go fund me page. What does he get out of this anyway it's a gift to us

On top, Van Stry asks the court to declare that McCrea was the domain registrant and administrator of a second site called Books.cat where he allegedly coordinated with “hunters” to obtain eBooks, remove their DRM, and upload the resulting files to eBook.bike.

It is still down. If I remember correctly ebookoz's admin was a hunter on books.cat. We can ask her!!!! I miss the site and hope what ever issues the facing will be resolved soon.

I’m sure hunters are aware of this as well. I remember during books.bike renewal time he was very late in payment to renew.

@Tracey he lost the lawsuit 3 years ago. I believe Books.cat was set up to replace the other one. I didn't realize until now that he was behind this one. Nothing on Google about any other lawsuits. He's been staying under the radar.

If he is the owner, I doubt he will. He was sued not long ago and lost.
