Website informer.com seems to indicate the owner of books.cat is Traves McCrea former owner of books.bike. . Hope I’m wrong. A certificate needs to be renewed (paid) for web site to continue.

Heartbroken if it's gone gone. Great site and such talented moderators ... they never let me down despite me being pretty well computer illiterate. Fingers crossed. I know of no other similar sites.

The last time this happened it was due to a certificate not being renewed (whatever that means) , but it was down no longer than a week. Perhaps they were hacked.
