Happy New Year to all the e-chat people and you too @Mary, @Matt and @Kieato.
It was nice exchanging messages with you to try and give hope, etc. But there's only so much positive vibes I can give. The candle can't keep giving light forever...
Try and email the owner to try to get his attention as a last resort! Go to the Facebook page of e-chat. All of us should send a message to 'please turn your site back on.' Please be nice though (I emphasize that.)
