The business model failed. All free was ok but covid changed the game as millions of bored people moved to web scaling costs of servers. Poor adverts were not able to return costs, not mentioned any profit.
We noticed problems with traffic since spring. Eventually it had to collapsed.
All other free sites (motherless, fetlife, YouTube) have premium version that helps the business to run smoothly. That's the only option.
Someone who cares would pay few dollars, the rest would enjoy it for free.

@Vllvh I don't know about an admin there (but 100 % sure there is one) but I know for sure they have official staff working on things. For example uploaded a teaser video of my own site. Then it was waiting approval, when I looked a bit later then it was blocked because of copyright infrigment, where I then though wait wat? It's my own teaser, I've then wrote one mail through the contact form on the site explaining it and one directly via email and after around 13 hours the video (which I couldn't see anymore after the message of copyright infrigment) was back in my account and set to public.
